Yang Hormat Dato’ Wan Ezrulnizan (hereinafter referred to as YH Dato’) is a law graduate LL.B(Hons.) from the Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws International Islamic University Malaysia and a post graduate certificate holder of the Certificate in Company Administration (CiCA) from Harun Hashim Law Centre International Islamic University Malaysia. YH Dato’ holds the Certified Advance Human Resource Practitioner (CAHRP) certification and Certified Human Resource Practitioner (CHRP) certification from the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM). YH Dato’ is also a member of the Human Resource Best Practices Task Force 2 team appointed by the Ministry of Human Resource Malaysia, a survey member of the PEMANDU Economic Transformation Program (ETP) & Government Transformation Program (GTP) and an assessor for TERAJU (Unit Agenda Pembangunan Bumiputra). Ministry of International Trade & Industry (MITI) has appointed Dato’ as a panel member of the Kelantan/Terengganu Economic Transformation Program (ETP) and Government Transformation Program (GTP) initiative and a government auditor through Messrs Ramli & Co. Chartered Accountant (AF1054) appointed by the Auditor General of Malaysia through the National Audit Department for the Federal Statutory Bodies and State Statutory Bodies government audit assignment. He was also a National Franchise Consultant registered with Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (PNS). YH Dato’ was involved in the Foreign Direct Investment enrichment program to Malaysia by the Republic of Uganda, Republic of Niger and People’s Republic of Myanmar.
YH Dato’ was a professional member of the Malaysian Bar Council ,former Honorary Assistant Secretary & Exco member of the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM), fellow member of the Malaysian Association of Company Secretaries (MACS), fellow member of the Chartered Taxation Institute Malaysia (CTIM), fellow of the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Company Secretaries (MICCS), exco member of the Malaysian Myanmar Chamber of Commerce (MMCC), member of the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM), member of the Asian Chartered Institute of Bankers, a life member of the Malaysian Institute of Corporate Governance (MICG), member of the Institute of Internal Auditors United States (IIA) Malaysian Chapter, member of the Societies of Human Resource Management United States (SHRM), member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development United Kingdom (CIPD) and member of the Australian Human Resource Institute (AHRI).
YH Dato’ is an experienced advocate & solicitor, government relation consultant, internal auditor and tax consultant. He is involved in corporate governance & compliance, contract negotiations, government relations, goverment audit, special assignment, due diligence & investment opportunities into Malaysia and a vetting committee for several Royal Household in Malaysia. As a gratitude for his services YH Dato’ has been bestowed the Darjah Kebesaran Sultan Ahmad Shah Yang Di Mulia Peringkat Kedua (D.S.A.P) by His Royal Highness Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah which carries the title Dato’ in 2012, Bintang Setia Mahkota Pahang Peringkat Ketiga (S.M.P) in 2011 and Pingat Bintang Khidmat Terpuji (B.K.T) Melaka in 2011. YH Dato’ was a member of the Board of Visitors Senawang Specialist Medical Centre since 2011 until 2014, a member of the Malaysian Foundation for Prevention of Crimes(MFPC/YPJM), life member of the Malaysian Historical Society (PSM), life member of Yayasan Anti Rasuah Malaysia (YARM), a National Industry Expert by Skills Department Malaysia and a member of the International Maritime Society Marine Laws (IMSML) and Board of Trustees for Arthos Trust.
YH Dato’ is married with a wife and four kids. He was the Director for the Koperasi Dewan Perniagaan Melayu Malaysia Kelantan (Coop DPMMK), an advisor & exco of Persatuan Masyarakat Perdagangan & Perusahaan Malaysia Negeri Kelantan (PERDASAMA). Chairman of the East Coast Branch MIHRM, Kelantan & Terengganu State Representative for the Malaysian Association of Company Secretaries (MACS) and Malaysian Institute of Chartered Company Secretaries (MICCS) and a committee member of Chartered Taxation Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) East Coast branch (Pahang,Kelantan,Terengganu).
